BikeShare Staff Trans-Atlantic BikeShare started in 1992 as a result of a BikeShare between Tony Wood (UK) and Tom Burklow (USA) We both had similar interests in touring overseas bought found the financial costs to be large obstacle. As a result of a letter Tony wrote to the BMW Owner's news I contacted Tony and arrangements were made to exchange the use of each other's motorcycles in the future. The rest is history....
