Tea-Pees

Today
the adventure continues as we leave South England by ferry for Cherbourg, France.
Tomorrow we will visit some of the sites of the D-Day invasion at Normandy.
Have enjoyed our stay with English friends we met several years ago while stationed in Naples Italy.
Couple of photos. The first is of Gary and BikeShare partner Phillip Carr, K111. We must have been twins separated at birth. Note the riding jackets.
The second is the Tip's (say Teapee's, because they have tea then ride 35 miles and pee, have tea ride another 35 and pee) of Yorkshire preparing to escort me on the proper side of the road for my first 80 or so miles. What a great group of guys to ride with.
We
had a great lunch at one of the English pubs along the way then they bid me
farewell.
More at the next internet connection.
Ride hard, ride long, ride safe.
